Async Secondhand Device Warranty Policy
Warranty Period
All secondhand devices purchased from Async are covered by a limited warranty for one (1) month from the date of purchase.
1-to-1 Exchange Policy
In the event of hardware defects, the customer is eligible for a 1-to-1 exchange within three (3) days from the date of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:
The customer must return all components of the device, including the original packaging and any items that were included in the packaging (e.g., chargers, cables, manuals), all in their proper condition.
The device must be free from any physical damage, tampering, or unauthorized modifications.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in ineligibility for a 1-to-1 exchange.
Warranty Coverage
The warranty covers the following:
Hardware malfunctions or defects affecting the functionality of the device.
Battery-related issues rendering the device inoperable.
Charging-related issues, including an inability to charge or defects in the charging port (excluding misuse-related damage).
The warranty does not cover:
Physical damage, including cracks, dents, or broken components.
Damage arising from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.
Water or liquid damage.
Software issues, viruses, or user-installed applications.
Normal wear and tear, including scratches or cosmetic damage.
Additional Charges Due to Device Age
In the event that issues are found with the device due to its age (e.g., aging battery, outdated components), Async reserves the right to apply additional charges for repairs, replacements, or any services rendered that are deemed necessary due to the device's age. These charges will be communicated to the customer before any work is undertaken.
Warranty Claims
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must provide the following:
The original receipt or proof of purchase.
The device in its original condition, including all accessories and packaging.
Exchange Terms
A 1-to-1 exchange will be conducted only if the defect is verified by our technicians within three (3) days of the purchase date.
In the event that the device cannot be exchanged due to unavailability of stock, the customer may select a similar device of equivalent value.
Exclusions
This warranty will be deemed void under the following circumstances:
If the device exhibits physical damage, tampering, or has been repaired by unauthorized personnel.
If there are traces of tampering or unauthorized modifications to the device.
If the serial number or warranty seal is damaged, altered, or removed.
Transport Charges
Should the customer be unable or unwilling to send the device for warranty service, Async will cover the transport charges, including the cost of shipping the device to and from our facility, as part of the warranty process.
Warranty Form
A separate warranty form will be provided to the customer at the time of the warranty claim. This form must be retained by the customer and returned to Async upon completion of the warranty process. This form will serve to track the progress and ensure proper handling of the warranty claim.
Right to Reject Warranty
Async reserves the right to reject a warranty claim at any stage of the warranty process if, during the assessment, we find any evidence of physical damage, tampering, or unauthorized modifications. This also includes any indication of misuse, alteration, or neglect of the device. Any of these factors will render the warranty void and the warranty claim will be rejected.
Refund Policy
All products sold by Async are non-refundable. However, refunds may be considered only if the device is found to be Telco locked (SIM Lock/Carrier Lock/Network Lock), thereby preventing its use with other carriers. In such cases, a refund may be granted under the following conditions:
The device must be returned within three (3) days of the purchase date.
The customer must provide sufficient proof that the device is Telco locked.
Refund requests for any other reason will not be accepted.
